Three Gruffs Woot

So I've thought shirt.woot.com was a pretty cool site, and after following another artist's link to their own submission there I hit on an idea for this week's theme.
I'm always into fairytales and I like goats, so I was happy nobody had done this theme yet I also happen to think 3 is a good number, and if you've read many tales you'll know an important one in stories. 3 sons, 3 princesses, 3 pigs...

This was a real challenge to make for multiple reasons. I'm a bit embarrassed but this took many hours to make though I feel it doesn't really look like it. It was completely freehand on tablet (even the initial layout sketch!), which I've never done a major piece that way before (generally I draw over a scanned sketch that's mostly complete) and I've never worked at that large of a resolution before. I did it on a rather small laptop, which cried a bit when it came time to resize for preview.
Finally this is a bit of a style change for me- no outlines at all. I probably could have pushed this further but I'd already worked on it for a while and didn't want to miss the deadline.

I'm sure I won't do that well but I wanted to give it a shot. I'm definitely going to rely on a scanned paper sketch next time >.<
